read bradley wiggins 2010 tour diary over the holidays and would recommend it to anyone who has a snails horn of an interest in cycling or endurance sport. its concise and to the point, and gives you a real insight into the physical and emotional roller coaster of le tour de france. wiggin’s own poor performance in the 2010 tour certainly helps add to its intrigue as you can really feel his disappointment running right through the words after some stages. however the book is not soley about him, on the contary in fact as he gives us an insiders view on the tours biggest egos such as cav, contador, and armstrong, as well as the internal tour politics, all the way down to what the mechanics do and where the teams stay. have a butchers if you get the chance. ps – here are a selection of the beautiful black and white photography contained throughout the book.
