Ugliest football shirt ever?

Don’t get me wrong, as someone who used to collect football stickers as a nipper i’ve seen my fair share of horrific kits, but this shirt for the Caribous of Colorado from ’78 is pretty ugly. Yet on one hand it’s tassels seem to give it an almost ugly duckling charm, on the other the skin tone bottom makes some of the white players look more like belly dancers than footballers (number 10 in particular). None the less i am in doubt that this shirt has it’s fans like somewhere in East London, Brooklyn or Matthew Gebbie’s bedroom, where it is no doubt being donned with pride, so much so I kind of want it myself. How Shoreditch have i become [head in hands].

LOL!!!! I stumbled onto this blog, and I appreciate the look back at late 70s/early 80s US soccer.

I remember the Caribous and this uniform!!! Believe it or not, when the players came out in this uniform, it was SENSATIONAL! A lot of people enjoyed its unique look.
